ABOUT THE APARTMENT:

This resale apartment offers split level accommodation which would be suitable for relocation and year round living or would make a good investment for holiday rentals or as a comfortable family unit which is ideally located on the ground floor level.

The apartment is set in a block of eight apartments with the entrance door being situated at the rear of the block but ideally the balcony terrace and second access door provides direct access to the poolside.

The apartment could be a 2 or a 3 bedroom depending on personal needs and choice of layout. It is currently 2 bedroom but with separate lounge and separate kitchen/dining room but generally holiday apartments have an open plan lounge/kitchen without the need for them being separate.

Currently the main entrance door is located on the first floor level and as per the custom design of Turkish homes, they are of an upside down style. However, there is an entrance door on the lower level as well which comes off the kitchen/dining area and steps to the poolside.

From the main upper entrance door you step inside what is currently a separate lounge. The lounge has ceramic tiled flooring and at the far aspect there is a single door stepping onto a good sized balcony and a single window. The lounge comes furnished as seen and has a sofa bed settee and single armchair however this could easily be a third bedroom if circumstances were that a third bedroom was preferred. There is an wooden staircase set at the rear of the lounge which leads down to the kitchen and dining area so it is partly open with a mezzanine style.

The balcony off the lounge is also accessed from the upper bedroom and has a North facing aspect which offers panoramic views which seem endless.

There is one bedroom on this upper level which is of good size and benefits from en-suite bathroom. The bedroom has twin beds, freestanding wardrobe, bedside cabinets and drawer unit. There is no air-conditioning unit but instead a tall freestanding fan.

The en-suite bathroom is fully tiled to walls and floors and has wc, enclosed shower cubicle and vanity wash hand basin set on cupboard unit.

The stairs down are wooden and spiral down to the kitchen/dining area.

The kitchen is set to the rear of the room, nestled under the staircase. It is compact but adequate coming with a range of wall and base units which is equipped with small fridge, 4 ring gas counter hob with stainless steel extractor hood above and microwave oven. Adjacent to the kitchen it is currently being used as a dining area with table and chairs to seat 4 however this could be used as a open plan lounge/kitchen instead. There is a single door which steps straight to the poolside.

Bedroom two is located on ground floor level and is accessed from a doorway off the kitchen. It also benefits from an en-suite bathroom. Again the bedroom is set out with twin beds and comes furnished with free standing wardrobe.

The second en-suite is of good size and is neutrally tiled to walls and floors. It has an enclosed shower cubicle, vanity wash hand basin which is set on a cupboard unit and wc.

LOCATION, HISARONU/OVACIK AREA: 

The resort of Hisaronu has grown dramatically over the past few years due to the popularity of ÖlüDeniz which is a short 5 minute bus ride away to which the lagoon beaches offer a free shuttle service from the complex gates.

Hisaronu was originally a small farming village, it is now a hive of activity during the summer months and home to many shops, hotels, villas, bars and restaurants.

Hisaronu is still relatively small in size and overlooked by mountains and pine forest allowing for a refreshing cool breeze during the long hot summer months.

This area has proved popular with investors as the tourism trade is rife and rental potential good.

It is also a great choice for families with activities for all the family to include water parks, pony trekking/horse riding, childrens fairground and trampoline park, crazy golf, boat trips, jeep safari, water sports and even tandem paragliding from the well known Babadag mountain peak.

Ovacik is the neighbouring village to the lively tourist resort of Hisaronu.  There are a few bars & restaurants scattered around the village offering a mixed choice of dishes to suit all tastes and budgets.

The village has everything you would need from bakers, green grocers, pharmacy, diy stores, hairdressers barbers and beauty salons, car hire and much more.

The transport links between resorts are excellent with regular dolmus (bus) service running all year round between the pretty harbour town of Fethiye, trademark beach and blue lagoon resort of Ölüdeniz and Ovacik/Hisaronu; making it an ideal base for enjoying all the diverse aspects of this captivating area. 

ABOUT THE SURROUNDING AREA & FETHIYE: 

FETHIYE itself is a thriving tourist town offering a great combination of ancient sites and modern convenience. It boasts a large marina and waterfront promenade, having a wealth of shops, seafood restaurants and bars as well as a daily fresh fish market and fruit/vegetable market in the centre of the town. The Paspatur, known as the Old City, is one of the most colourful shopping and entertainment areas of the town. Here you will find a traditional Turkish Bath (Hamam), many restaurants and bars, and various shops selling souvenirs and local goods. On the outskirts of the town an open market is held on a Tuesday, selling a wide range of local goods including clothes, shoes and linens etc as well as local produce and spices. A fruit and vegetable market is also held on a Friday where local farmers gather to sell their freshly grown produce. 

Just a couple of kilometres to the north of Fethiye the beach resort of CALIS is located and which is one of the natural breeding grounds of the caretta marine turtle in the area. It is approximately 4km long with areas of sunbeds and umbrellas. Many restaurants, shops and hotels line the coast and regular water taxi boats and dolmus buses run to and from Fethiye centre. 

The stunning resort of OLU DENIZ, one of the most acclaimed in Turkey, is approximately 14km from Fethiye. The resort is low rise and spreads back gently up the mountain. There is an abundance of elegant restaurants, hotels and bars. Both the famous Oludeniz Blue Lagoon and Belcekiz Beach can easily be reached by dolmus from the centre of Fethiye. Babadag mountain, the backdrop of OluDeniz, is a recognised area for paragliding and is deemed to be one of the best flying points in the world for this sport. 

The lively resort villages of HISARONU and OVACIK are located inland above Fethiye and offer a good choice of shops, bars and restaurants. 

There are also many other bays and beaches which are reachable either by car or by boat and the area as a whole gives excellent opportunities for overseas buyers.
