The resort of Hisaronu has grown dramatically over the past few years due to the popularity of Ölü Deniz which is a short 5 minute bus ride away, to which there are free shuttle services offered by the private lagoon beaches.

Hisaronu was originally a small farming village; it is now a hive of activity during the summer months and home to many shops, hotels, villas, bars and restaurants. Hisaronu is still relatively small in size compared to some European holiday destinations which makes it a safe family friendly destination.
